Chesapeake and Ohio Canal Boat - The Canal Clipper
The National Park Service offers living history boat rides for groups of 10 to 80. Park rangers, dressed in period clothing from the 1870’s, raise the boat in a lift lock and steer it along the canal. A ranger on board explains the history of the canal and the families that lived and worked on it.
