The founder of school-management company, Edison Schools, has listed his 11-acre waterfront estate for $27M. 6 years ago, he tried to sell for $45 million, then $36 million, but eventually took it off the market. He is based in Knoxville (TN). The property also includes a 3.7-acre parcel on which lies a 4-bedroom, 4-bath guest house, designed in 1990 by architect Peter Marino in shingle style. The high price is partly due to its 400 feet on Georgica Pond.
