Three "Christ of the Abyss" statues are located under the surface of the sea, this is the third. The first two are located near the Italian Riviera and Grenada respectively. This one was cast from the same mold as the original. It was presented to the Underwater Society of America in New York in 1962, and placed here in about 25 feet of water in 1965.
