On Thursday 8th September 2022, Bjoern IN3/DL7RAY/P, a radio amateur from Germany reached the summit of Cima delle Buse and became the first to activate this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
He made 8 contacts in total working on the 20 metre HF amateur radio band.
The summit of Cima delle Buse is 2574 metres (8445 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA group database.
