Clan MacGregor Chiefs Burial Ground

Arrochar, United Kingdom (GB)
Clan MacGregor is an old Highland clan from Scotland dating back to the 800s. The clan is the most famous of all the clans in Scotland as they are thought to be one of the first clans to play the bagpipes and they are also known for having Rob Roy MacGregor, a Scottish outlaw and folk hero as their most famous member.

The clan has their own burial grounds on a small man-made peninsula in Loch Katrine. Further down the loch there is a small graveyard that contains the burials of chiefs from Clan MacGregor. Their most famous member, Rob Roy MacGregor is also buried elsewhere as he is buried in the old graveyard in Balqhuidder beside his wife and two sons.
