"come downtown and play." on the Roof of Peabody Place Entertainment and Retail Center

Memphis, Tennessee (TN), US
From www.belz.com/peabody:

At the heart of it all is Peabody Place Entertainment and Retail Center. The Center, completed in fall 2001, was designed to be reminiscent of a town square, which was rediscovered, refurbished and topped with the largest skylight in Tennessee to create an enclosed town square. At night, the lighting systems create the atmosphere that the Center really is outdoors, with abundant sidewalk cafes and other seating. The Center boasts over 300,000 square feet of leasable retail space and is directly connected to approximately 3,000 parking spaces. It is also located immediately adjacent to the historic Peabody Hotel.

The Center is anchored by a 22-screen Muvico Theater complex, which is home to a 550-seat, 60-foot tall, large-screen theater. The theater features full stadium seating and the latest sound systems. Another anchor is Jillian’s, a multi-faceted entertainment experience including dining, video cafe, sports bar, electronic game room, billiards, simulators and bowling alley. The third major anchor of the Center is Tower Records. Beyond offering the latest in music and video, it often offers live entertainment, featuring Beale Street and Memphis musicians.

Looking for a restaurant? The Center gives visitors so many mouth-watering options that the hardest thing is deciding which restaurant to chose.

Like Isaac Hayes' own self-named restaurant, with tender ribs, soul food specialties and incredible live music. Texas De Brazil, a Brazilian steakhouse offering authentic churrascaria style dining. There's Dan McGuinness Irish Pub, built from the ground up in Ireland and shipped to Memphis to recreate the décor, music, food, drinks and hospitality of an authentic Dublin pub.

Other delicious treats include Starbucks Coffee, Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory, Maggie Moo’s Ice Cream and Pretzel Maker.

Then, get ready to shop until you drop at some of the coolest stores around. Ann Taylor Loft brings refined fashion at moderate prices. GAP, GAP Kids and Baby GAP keep everyone in step with fashion. Hot Topic and Claire's adds extra cool to their fashions and accessories. DAPY features high-quality, home-oriented gifts. And there's also Victoria’s Secret, Coco and Lilly, Putting Edge, Walsons Jewelers and Sydnie's Gifts .
