On Thursday 8th September 2022, Elena EA4DOS and Alejandro EA4DON/P, a couple radio amateurs from Spain reached the summit of Cordel and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

They made 54 contacts in total working on the 40, 30 and 20metre HF amateur radio bands.

The summit of Cordel is 2059 metres (6755 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA group database.
