"Crossroads" was built around 1919 for William Russell Grace Jr., a director of then family-owned W.R. Grace & Co., a chemical conglomerate which still exists. In the late 1990s the 16,894 sq.ft. mansion was purchased by a Feng Shui Group from California and is still owned by them (Yun Lin Temple).
