Dennis Gertmenian is the CEO of Foxdale Properties, Founder and retired CEO of Ready Pac Produce®.

uring his career, Dennis Gertmenian has completed over 40 mergers and acquisitions mostly related to the food and real estate industries. In addition to founding Ready Pac Foods and retiring as Chairman and CEO after 40 years, Dennis has served as Chairman of the International Fresh-Cut Produce Association, and continues to serve as a member of the Ready Pac Foods Board of Directors. He also has been active in the United Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Association, Western Growers Association, Fresh Produce and Floral Council and the Produce Marketing Association. Currently Dennis serves as CEO of Foxdale Properties, LLC a family business he founded 20 years ago.

Community service is very important to Gertmenian. He served as the Founder and Chairman of Ready Pac’s “Kids to Camp” charity, enabling 3,735 inner city youths to attend local summer camps throughout the U.S. He was presented with the City of Hope Research Fellowship Award for his support of the organization’s fight against cancer. In addition, he is a supporter of Methodist Hospital’s Patient Tower Campaign, neighborhood schools and numerous other charitable organizations. Gertmenian currently serves on the following non-profit boards: California Community Foundation, Semester at Sea, sponsored by University of Virginia, USC School of Biokinesiology, as well as the Gertmenian Foundation. He is a past long-term member of the YMCA Board of Directors.

Gertmenian was honored as “Person of the Year” for both the International Fresh Produce Association and the City of Irwindale Chamber of Commerce. In 2009, he was bestowed with the Fresh Produce and Floral Council as a lifetime honorary member.

Gertmenian received an AA degree from Pasadena City College, a Bachelor of Science Degree from the USC and an M.B.A. from Pepperdine University. Dennis sailed on the Fall 1966 Semester at Sea voyage. He resides with his wife in Pasadena and has five adult children.
