Deshaun Watson is a sophomore undergraduate and collegiate quarterback at Clemson University. Watson has excelled on the gridiron since starting at quarterback his freshman year at Gainesville High School. During his career in high school he won the state title and set numerous state records including total yards, total touchdowns, career passing yards and career passing touchdowns. Watson was heavily recruited by the best collegiate football programs but chose Clemson on February 1, 2012.

At Clemson Watson has continued to rise, earning the starting quarterback position in the fourth week of the 2014 season. Shortly after becoming the #1, Watson suffered a series of injuries including breaking his hand, straining his LCL and tearing his ACL. Deshaun was able to lead the Tigers over rival South Carolina despite playing with the torn ACL. Between this game and before the bowl game Watson underwent surgery to his ACL.

In 2015 Watson led the Tigers to an undefeated regular season, an ACC Championship and runner up in the National Championship. Individually he put together an extraordinary season, earning third in the Heisman voting, winning ACC Offensive Player of the Year, winning the Davey O'Brien Award for best QB and becoming the third player in NCAA history to throw for 3,500 yards and rush for 1,000 yards.
