The Dodge Ram 50 was a captive import of the Mitsubishi Triton/L200 compact pickup truck that was offered from 1987 to 1994. Even though it was introduced with the mid-size Dakota, its cancellation was more of to show Dodge's independence from Mitsubishi, and the Dakota subsequently replaced it.
