Donald A. Adam is an entrepreneur who made his fortune in the Texas television cable and banking industries. Over the past several years, he expanded his business interests in Florida, where he is the owner of Cortlandt Farm, a thoroughbred horse-breeding facility in Ocala.
Adam is chairman and CEO of American Momentum Bank, which he established in Tampa in 2006 as an independent community bank with $100 million in capital, the most “ever raised by a new bank in the state,” according to a July article in American Banker magazine.
He owns this 22,365 sq ft mansion and and another oceanfront mansion in Manalapan, FL. He travels between the two in his gold and white Gulfstream 5 jet, tail number N5DA.
