Donald Carter's house

Donald C. Carter was the Chairman and CEO of The Carter Organization, a firm he founded in 1974 to solicit proxies from shareholders in takeovers and other corporate contests. He was an advisor to a generation of takeover artists including Saul Steinberg, Irwin Jacobs, T. Boone Pickens, James Goldsmith, Robert Maxwell, Carl Icahn and Rupert Murdoch. He owns this compound that includes the main home on the water, and two homes to the east of that.
