Douglas DC-8-33 (Birds Eye)
This DC-8 (cn 45256/40) was delivered new to Pan Am in 1960. Operated by Chikko-Dan during 1983-84 transporting live chickens but the operation was suspended after only one flight. Then SAS bought the aircraft and removed all useable parts and put the aircraft in open storage. Since then it has been used as a towing trainer and for fire training. It is one of the oldest DC-8's still in existence.
