On Sunday 21st May 2023, Sangdeog DS2YZI, a radio amateur from South Korea reached the summit of 계방산 (Gyebangsan) and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
He made 8 contacts in total working on the 2m and 40m amateur radio bands.
The summit of 계방산 (Gyebangsan) is 1577 metres (5174 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA group database.
