On Sunday 29th January 2023, DS5SQS and 6K5XZE, two South Korean radio amateurs reached the summit of 단지봉 (Danjibong) and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
They made 22 contacts in total working on the 2 metre and the 40 metre HF amateur radio bands.
The summit of 단지봉 (Danjibong) is 1327 metres (4354 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA group database.
