The EPC stands for renown cigar maker and Cuban-American, Ernesto Perez-Carrillo. He founded El Credito Cigar Company which produces La Gloria Cubana and El Rico Habano cigars. In 1999 He sold the cigar business to Swedish Match but continued to manage and oversee production. After 10 years his children beseeched him to create the next great cigar. In 2009 he and his daughter Lissette founded E.P. Carrillo.
