On November 16, 1957, Bernice Worden was found murdered inside Worden's Hardware Store. The last person in the store was Ed Gein. When police searched his isolated farmhouse, they found the body of Bernice Worden.
Note: Business is still a hardware store, but with a different name and ownership.
