The Century Circle display features a restored 18-foot high and 28-foot wide control tower and six Century Series aircraft, the F-100, F-101, F-102, F-104, F-105 and F-106.

The six Century Series fighters on display are USAF historical property on loan to the AFFTC Museum from the National Museum of the USAF. Two ofthe aircraft, the YF-100A and the TF-102A, served long test careers at Edwards AFB. The other four - although never assigned to the base - are examples of types that were.

The central control tower was used at Edwards for over 35 years, serving as witness to some of the world's most astonishing aviation feats, including man's first flights exceeding Mach 3, 4, 5 and 6; the first Space Shuttle tests and returns from space; and maiden flights of over 65 aircraft. The interior of the tower is slated for restoration in the future.
