Friedric III was German Emperor from 9. March 1888 – 15. June 1888. He and Empress Victoria was the daughter Queen Victoria of the United Kingdom and Prince Albert.

Their coffins are in the crypt under the Mausoleum. Next to their effigies are their ledger stones. The mausoleum is in the park of Charlottenburg Castle.
