Egon Durban is a Managing Partner and Managing Director of Silver Lake, which he joined at its founding in 1999. He is based in the firm's Menlo Park, CA office. He opened and managed the firm's London office from 2005 to 2010. Previously, he served on the Board of Skype and was the Chairman of its operating committee. Prior to Silver Lake, Mr. Durban worked in Morgan Stanley's Investment Banking Division. He spearheaded the leveraged buyout of Dell in 2013.
