On Tuesday, 27th August 2024, Pat HB9HOP/P, a radio amateur, from Switzerland, reached the summit of Eiger in the Bern Canton of Switzerland. He became the first to activate this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
