Emad Khashoggi is a French-Saudi businessman and the head of COGEMAD. His grandfather was Muhammad Khashoggi, the personal physician to King Abdulaziz Al Saud. He is the nephew of the late Saudi arms dealer, Adnan Khashoggi. His cousin was journalist Jamal Khashoggi, who was murdered in 2018 at the Saudi consulate in Istanbul, widely believed to have been upon the orders of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman -- in 2015, Mohammed bin Salman paid a reported $301M USD to purchase Château Louis XIV from Emad Khashoggi.
