The long barrow is located on a wooded patch of land next to a field. The barrow is thought to have been constructed between 3950 BC - 2801 BC. The dolmen not in good condition as only two stones remain and the site is overgrown. The full length of the barrow remains and the stones surrounded the edge of the barrow also remains The woodland has been cleared around the barrow.
The barrow is one of several within the area. All dolmens and barrows are protected.
