Among the artists performing were Frank Zappa and the Mothers of Invention, The Allman Brothers Band, the Grateful Dead, Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young, Big Brother & Holding Company, B.B. King, Jimi Hendrix, Johnny Winter, Doors, Buddy Rich, Grateful Dead, Taj Mahal, Janis Joplin, Richie Havens, Blood Sweat & Tears, Ike & Tina Turner, Fats Domino, Odetta, Cat Stevens, Jefferson Airplane, The Who, Santana, James Taylor, Led Zeppelin, Elton John. Many live albums were recorded here.
