This mansion burned down in 2005. Initial reports by fire officials erroneously identified the home as the one used for Wayne Manor in the Batman television series. The source of the blaze was never confirmed but is suspected to be arson. The lot is now completely bare and up for sale at $6.85 million.

Also - the owner at the time of the blaze was Michael Hammer (grandson of industrialist Armand Hammer and father of actor Armie Hammer). He had owned the home less than a year and was renovating it at the time of the fire.

The current owner is Bijan Partovi, who bought the lot soon after it burned down.
