I believe my uncle was stationed there in the 1980s. So it may no longer be a US Base. The French Frigate through me for a loop so they might not be US boats. I posted this first. I am trying to verify where exactly he was stationed.

The picture in Microsoft's Live Maps only shows 1 ship which is in a different
position or is another ship. Obviously, the images were taken at different times.
