Flathead Lake is magnificent. I grew up 1,000 feet from its shores and it will alway hold a place in my heart. It rocks my socks.

Atlin Lake in BC is bigger. 300 square miles versus 200 sq mile for Flathead. Flathead is the largest in the US west of the Missippi. Just sayin' :)
