Florida Sun Grown Cigars

Florida Sun Grown's claim to fame is that its crop is grown in Florida. Until recently, the last Florida tobacco crop was grown in 1977.

Florida Sun Grown was founded by Jeff Borysiewicz who wanted to bring tobacco back to Florida on a smale scale. As the founder of Corona Cigar Company, Borysiewicz had some experience in the business. In 2012, Corona purchased 20 acres near Orlando, FL and in 2013 planted a test crop with Cuban seed Corojo tobacco.
