This was a private course until new ownership in 2009. The 2009 season saw a severe loss in profits and the course was closed for the 2010 season. Today it sits somewhat attended to while owners and the city try to figure out what to do with the land. There's talk of rezoning for homes as well as potentially keeping it open as a public course. Hopefully the latter will prevail and this land won't be plowed over like so much of America.
