Former Christianshøj Railway Station

Former Christianshøj Railway Station

Østermarie, Denmark (DK)
"De Bornholmske Jernbaner" were three routes through Bornholm. The three lines were: Nexøbanen (opened 1900 - closed 1968), Allingebanen (opened 1913 - closed 1968) and Gudhjembanen (opened 1916 - closed 1968). The three lines closed because more people on Bornholm started to use cars.

Most of the station buildings on Bornholm are now preserved. All station buildings are now private houses.
