12 men worked at the oven and each man had 2-3 kids of the age of 10 to 15 years to assist. Each man could produce 3,000-4,000 bricks a day.

1908 the clay for the bricks was all used and it closed down and the oven was demolished in 1909. Then they began producing pottery and plates and the famous Danish author Morten Korch became CEO of it but with no success so shortly after it closed down completely and the rest was demolished. Only the main building, Hakkemosegaard, remained.
The brick yard was to the south of the building, you can see it far left on the upper photo.
Today it's renamed to Charlottegaard after a former owners wife. It's the administration building for the housing area.
