Former Marlborough Road Underground Station

Former Marlborough Road Underground Station (StreetView)
Marlborough Road was an underground station in London that opened 13th April 1868 and closed 20th November 1939. The station was part of the Metropolitan Railway. The station closed due to passenger use.

What-s left today:
The station building still stands today and right up until 2009 the station building was used as a Chines restraunt. The platforms still remain at track level and can be seen if you look over the wall and down onto the tracks. The platforms can also be seen from passing trains since the tracks are still active.
