Former Merton Abbey Railway Station

Merton Abbey was a station in London. The station opened 1st October 1868, closed its passenger servies 3rd March 1929 and closed completely 1st May 1975. The station was opened by the London & South Western Railway, London Brighton & South Coast Railway Joint the station was closed by Southern Railway.

What's left today:
Nothing remains of the station today. The site has now been lost under the new road called Merantun Way.
