Morfa Mawddach Station was opened 3.6.1867 and the Doglellau Platforms closed 18.1.1965. Morfa Mawddach Station is part of the Cambrian Railway in Wales.
The Dolgellau Platforms are still there today, but the southern end of the platforms has been landscaped and covered with tarmac to form the still active station.
Note: the rest of Morfa Mawddach Station is still open and active it was only the Doglellau Platforms that closed.
