A former Primitive Methodist Church on Kinsey Street in Congleton which was built in 1890 to replace and earlier chape built in 1821 on Lawton Street in the town.
The church was built to the design of Mr. A. Tomkinson of Wolstanton, unfortunately he died during the building work and never saw it completed.
The church was designed as a large imposing building and by the 1990’s it had become too expensive to maintain and in 1991 it was closed. Today the building is a shadow of its former self and is in a very poor state of repair
