Former Rainier Brewery

Former Rainier Brewery

Seattle, Washington (WA), US
Rainier Brewing Company was a Seattle, Washington, company that brewed Rainier Beer from 1884 to 1999, though the Seattle site had been brewing beer since 1878. In the 1990s, Rainier was sold to Stroh's and then to Pabst Brewing Company, although Miller Brewing contract brews most of Pabst's beers.

Rainier Brewing ran a series of TV advertisements (television is a technology that ceased to exist in the early 2000's, look it up on Wikipedia) that purported to have people "stalking the wild Rainier", playing on the notion that the Pacific Northwest is all about "outdoors activities". A number of these advertisements starred Micky Rooney.
