Former Tingerup Halt

Former Tingerup Halt

Jystrup, Denmark (DK)
Tingerup was a halt in Denmark. The halt was part of the Sjællandske Midtbane, which opened in 1925 and closed in 1936 and had a length of 85 km. The railway ran from Frederikssund to Ringsted.

What's left today:
The halt was located on a small one arched concrete bridge that crossed the road. The road has since been demolished and replaced by a new road further away. However, the small bridge still remains, but overgrown and hidden behind a small house. The trackbed on both sides of the bridge has been demolished and no traces of the actual halt remains.
