Former Wood Lane Underground Station

Former Wood Lane Underground Station

Hammersmith, United Kingdom (GB)
Wood Lane Station was a tube station on the Central Line on the London Underground. The station opened in 1908 and closed in 1947.

What's left today:
Nothing of the station remains. The ruins of the station building survived for a long time, but in 2003 were demolished to make room for the Westfield Shopping Centre and also to make the road wider. The old eastbound platform could be seen from passing trains, but has now been demolished. Nothing at track level remains.
