Wootton was a station on Isle of Wight. The railway opened 20th December 1875, but Wootton station first appeared on the timetables in June 1876. The station closed 21st September 1953. The station was opened by the Ryde & Newport Railway and closed by British Railways (Southern Region).

What's left today:
The station has been demolished with all traces gone. The trackbed has been converted into a cycle path. The single arched road bridge going over the railway has been bricked on both sides. The station master's house is now a private residence.

On the other of the bridge, the Isle of Wight Steam Railway has built a new station with the same name as part of their heritage railway going along the former trackbed. The original station name board from the original station has been re-elected on the platform of the heritage station.
