Actually, this isn't the GE pavilion. One dome os composed of triangles and the other diamonds. Also, the GE pavilion had the white circle on the top and this doesn't. I guess this is just a sort of semi-sphere

This is not the General Electric Pavilion. It was the World's Fair Pavilion in 1964 and became the Churchill Center in 1965. After the fair it was moved to the to the former site of the Avis Antique Car Ride, within the zoo. It is now used as an aviary.

This is the NY Queens Zoo Aviary. It was originally the 1964 NY World's Fair Pavilion. It is a geodesic dome designed by Thomas C. Howard of Synergetics, Inc. (not Bucky Fuller). After the fair closed it was modified by T. C. Howard and re-purposed as an aviary.
