This Adidas Brazuca was the official match ball of the 2014 FIFA World Cup. The name "brazuca" (our fellow) is an informal word used by Brazilians to describe the way of life in Brazil. The ball received far less criticism than the Adidas Jabulani (2010 World Cup ball). Major League Soccer announced it would use a modified version of the ball for the 2014 season.
