Le Roncole, or Roncole Verdi, is a village in the province of Parma (Emilia-Romagna region) of Italy, a frazione of the comune of Busseto. It is located c. 140 km southeast of Milan. Today Le Roncole is called Roncole Verdi, named after the composer Giuseppe Verdi who was born there on either the 9 or 10 October, 1813. He remained in the area his entire life and wrote in 1863: "I was, am and always will be a peasant from Roncole."

The countryside and surrounding area is the center of activities throughout most of Verdi's life. The composer's birthplace, the "Casa Natale del Maestro", can be visited, as can the organ used by the young Verdi in the church a few kilometers away.
