This was the site of Wesleyan Chapel and its burial ground. The burial ground was used during the early 19th century and had 14.000 burials in the period of 1820-1857. The cemetery was very overcrowded. The burial ground has since become much smaller due to make room for the construction of the railway that passes right by it and was converted into an open space in 1926. Many of the graves still remain at the site.
