Early 2006 marked the start of production for GMT900-based GMC Yukons for the 2007 model year. This model is the luxurious Denali trim level, which had been in production since 1999. 2011 also marked the addition of a Vortec 6200 V8 engine with more torque and power than the standard Vortec V8 that is exclusive to the Denali. I personally prefer the Yukon Denali over the Tahoe because of its sharper, more conservative styling, and for the 6200 engine available.
