Goliad Naval Outer Landing Field(former)

Now-abandoned (sold to the county for $1) Goliad Naval Outer Landing Field, in Texas.

Closed by the Navy in 1992, each runway was over 10,000 feet in length, and each runway had a practice aircraft carrier approach area at each end . These approach areas are still clearly visible. The two on the north runway are still visible.

The Navy is in the process of trying to reacquire this land(2011), and has gone to a legal fight.
