On Wednesday 3rd August 2022 Michael OE/SV1CAL/P a radio amateur from Greece reached the summit of Golzentipp and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
He made 9 contacts in total working on the 2 metre VHF and the 20 HF amateur radio bands.
The summit of Golzentipp is 2317 metres (7602 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA group database.
