On Saturday 17th September 2022, Keith KR7RK, a radio amateur from Flagstaff, AZ reached the summit of Government Mountain and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

He made 53 contacts in total working on the 40, 30, 20, 17, 15, 12 and 10 metre HF amateur radio bands.
