On Saturday, 13th July 2024, Richard OE5FFE/P, a radio amateur from Austria, reached the summit of Großer Bärenkopf, in the Saltzburg Province of Austria. Richard became the first to activate this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

Stuart made 12 contacts in total working on the 40m and 15m amateur radio bands.
