Grosmont Castle is a remarkably well-preserved three phase fortress in Grosmont, Monmouthshire . It was quite possibly founded by William FitzOsbern, 1st Earl of Hereford during his invasion of South Wales in 1070. It is one of so called "Three castles" in the Monnow valley.
